And, to fill out the heaving sound with a little ephemerality, he’s brought along the sky-grazing vocal chops of Brighton’s own Verity Susman (MEMORIALS/Electrelane) and Emma Anderson (of Lush fame). The result, as you might well imagine, is a beautifully brooding collection of darkly textured soundscapes and post-punk brilliance, with an electronic sheen that glistens on the surface.
