Just when we think we've got 'em pegged the Manics come back with something like 'Critical Thinking' and completely sideswipe our expectations - this is an optimistic, dare we say joyous, outing that rejects the cynicism and darkness of previous efforts in favour of letting rip with tsunami-sized choruses and fretboard runs that could tickle the Sun.
